Frequently Asked Questions

  • Achieva is currently free to qualified businesses in Ontario. How do you qualify?  
  • are licensed to operate its business in Ontario; 
  • provide training in Ontario which is related to a job that is in Ontario; 
  • complies with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Employment Standards Act; 
  • maintains appropriate Workplace Safety and Insurance Board or private workplace safety insurance coverage; 
  • has adequate third-party general liability insurance as advised by my insurance broker; 
  • complies with all applicable federal and provincial human rights legislation, regulations, and any other relevant standards; 
  • if in receipt of other funds (government or otherwise) related to the same skills training for the same individual, funds must not exceed the total cost of wages paid to the participant; and 
  • will not use training participants to displace existing staff or replace staff who are on lay-off. 

The grant that we are working with expires in March 2024, however we do have a set number of Employers to work with. We encourage you to reach out sooner than later to secure your spot!

Durable skills, also referred to as “soft skills, are essential skills applicable across the workforce. These are characterized by their longevity and adaptability and empower individuals to perform effectively in their environment. 

All training is online asynchronous and available 24/7 during your training period.  

Employees are required to have their own device and internet access to complete training. Training can be accessed by a mobile device, but for the best user experience we suggest a laptop or desktop

Each time you complete a micro course in Achieva you receive a formal badge issued by Credly. Earned badges are tracked on the personal Achievements page for the account owner. These badges can be shared on main social media platforms including LinkedIn.

A pathway is a stackable set of courses that pertain to one topic. For example, the Leadership vs Management pathway consists of 5 courses, each involving a short video and reflection activities.  

The employer will be assigned a Client Success Associate to offer support to launch the training as well as answer any questions that may come up.  

Users will have access to the training for the duration of the agreement with Achieva. 

  1. From the Achieva homepage, click “Login” to access the login page.  
  2. On the login page, select the “Forgot password?” link.
  3. Enter the email address associated with your account. This is the same email address you used to register your account.  
  4. Click “SEND VERIFICATION CODE”.  
  5. You will receive an email from noreply@withachieva.com with a Verification Code. Copy this code and paste it into the input box titled “Verification Code”.  
  6. Click “VERIFY CODE”. If you do not receive a verification code from noreply@withachieva.com, click “SEND A NEW CODE” to receive a new verification code.  
  7. After your code is verified, click “REQUEST NEW PASSWORD”.  
  8. Enter a new password and click “CONTINUE”.  

You have now reset your password! You can use this password to log in to your account.
